Olivier has nearly 30 years of experience in international development aid projects, serving as a team leader, project manager, and integral member of many multidisciplinary and multicultural teams. He has worked at both strategic and operational levels, in donor headquarters and on the ground. His expertise spans the ex-Soviet Union, Central Asia, and Africa, where he has developed his expertise in all aspects of project and team management - from design and implementation to monitoring and evaluation. More importantly, Olivier has gained deep insights into the key factors that determine a project's success or failure. Across local, national, and regional initiatives, and at every stage of the project cycle, from conception to execution, he has found that the decisive factor is almost always human in nature - whether within donor organisations, project teams, or beneficiary communities.
